Our housing team is committed to ensuring that all residents are living in safe, comfortable homes and have access to the support they need. We would like to remind residents of three important services available to you.

Please Allow Access for Tenancy Audits

Over the coming months, members of the housing team will be carrying out tenancy audits across the estate. These routine visits help us keep our records up to date, ensure properties are being occupied correctly, and give residents an opportunity to raise any concerns about their home or tenancy.

If you are contacted to arrange a tenancy audit, please work with us to provide access to your property. These visits are an important part of managing and protecting our homes for all residents.

Gardening Support for Vulnerable Residents

We understand that maintaining a garden can become difficult for some residents due to age, disability, illness or other vulnerabilities. If you are struggling to keep on top of your garden and need help, please contact the housing team.

We may be able to offer advice, support or signposting to services that can assist you. Don't struggle in silence – we are here to help.

Need Adaptations to Your Home?

If you are finding it difficult to use certain parts of your home due to a disability, long-term health condition or reduced mobility, support may be available. The housing team can help residents access advice and make referrals to Newham Council for assessments relating to property adaptations.

Adaptations may include:

• Wet rooms

• Level-access showers

• Grab rails and handrails

• Ramps and improved access

• Other adaptations designed to help you live independently and safely
