Community Activities

We run a busy calendar of free community activities at the community hall at 55 Ruscoe Road, run by a small team of dedicated volunteers and in partnership with local charities and Newham Council. Here, Scheme Managers, Patricia and Holly, expand:

Since November 2024, we have been raising funds for the RNIB. At Ruscoe Road, we've hosted three RNIB painting parties so far and will continue to hold these events to create community artwork for display at our summer garden party. Many residents and staff have experienced sight loss over the years, and we remain committed to raising awareness and guiding tenants toward the support available through the RNIB charity.

Through our collective efforts, we are proud to be recognized as official RNIB fundraisers. These paintings not only showcase creativity but also reflect the unique ways we all perceive the world.
