We are pleased to share a recent example of how residents can be supported during difficult times. A vulnerable resident facing significant financial challenges had built up rent arrears due to a reduction in housing benefit linked to under-occupation.
Working closely with the resident, our very own Kingsley helped them apply for a Discretionary Housing Payment (DHP). The application was successful, resulting in an award of over £4,000 to help clear rent arrears and reduce the risk of eviction.
