St George’s Day Party at Ruscoe Road

On a bright afternoon at the sheltered scheme on Ruscoe Road, residents and friends came together for a lively community celebration full of entertainment and good company. The highlight was a fantastic musical performance from Paul and Teresa, whose brilliant duets had everyone tapping their feet and singing along.

There was also a range of fun games and activities, giving people of all ages the chance to join in and enjoy the day. Residents chatted, shared stories, and celebrated the strong community spirit at Ruscoe Road. Well Newham also attended to share local health and wellbeing information — and stayed to enjoy the music too.

The event was a great success, bringing people together through music, laughter, and conversation. Everyone enjoyed the famous pie and mash from the local pie shop, and many are already looking forward to the next gathering. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible.
