Smashing Pumpkins!

Halloween arrived bang on time this year, with a spook-tacular Pumpkin Carving Event at 55 Ruscoe Road that brought together 18 residents for an afternoon of creativity, laughter, e-numbers and a little bit of friendly competition on 31st October.

Armed with carving tools, stencils, and plenty of imagination, participants transformed ordinary pumpkins into glowing masterpieces—everything from cheeky grins to spooky ghouls lit up the room. The atmosphere was buzzing, with neighbours swapping tips, sharing stories, and enjoying the seasonal fun together.

Of course, no event runs smoothly without a great team behind it. A huge thank you to Team Leader Verity, whose energy and organisation made the day such a success. And let’s not forget Paul, who kindly stayed behind to help clear up—proving that teamwork really does make the dream work!
